Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information on our Site is accurate and complete, some of the information is supplied to us by third parties and we are not able to check the accuracy or completeness of that information. We do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on our Site or any liability in respect of information on the Site supplied by you, any other website user or any other person.

All material on this Site is protected by copyright, and the Site’s design, text and graphics (including photographs) and their selection and arrangement belong to Rock Recruitment Limited. You may only use the Site for lawful purposes when seeking employment or help with your career or when recruiting staff. In particular, but without limitation, you must not seek to access, alter or delete any information to which you do not have authorised access, seek to overload the system via spamming or flooding, take any action or use any device, routine or software to crash, delay, damage or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Site or attempt to decipher, disassemble or modify any of the software, coding or information comprised in the Site.

You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to the Site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. Information Submitted by You

We will use information supplied by you (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) to aid the recruitment process and associated administrative functions. This involves us, amongst other things, processing and storing information (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) and passing or making available online such information to prospective employers (or third parties assisting them in their recruitment process), information about vacancies and placements will be passed to candidates and may be posted directly onto the Site.

Privacy

Any information which you provide about yourself to Rock Recruitment Limited will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are required to read and acknowledge your agreement with that Privacy Policy before providing us with any information about yourself. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information about you, which you provide to us, is up to date and accurate.

Disclaimer of Warranty & Liability

Rock Recruitment Limited makes no express or implied warranty or representation as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of the Site or any part of it. Furthermore, Rock Recruitment Limited makes no warranty that the Site and/or its content are free from viruses or any other defect which has contaminating or destructive properties. Rock Recruitment Limited will not be liable for any damages (including without limitation loss of profits) arising in contract, tort or otherwise from your use or inability to use the Site and/or any part of its content.

We will only be liable for any loss or damage which you suffer from your use of the Site which is the direct consequence of our breach of these Terms or from our wilful negligence, and where such loss or damage was foreseeable. Except as expressly stated above, nothing in these Terms will reduce your statutory rights in respect to the manner in which Rock Recruitment Limited performs.

Choice of Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, Jersey law. We both agree, for the benefit of Rock Recruitment Limited, that the Courts of Jersey shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with or under any agreement between you and Rock Recruitment Limited; provided however, that this clause determines jurisdiction for the benefit of Rock Recruitment Limited only, and Rock Recruitment Limited reserves the right to bring proceedings against you in the courts of any other country where jurisdiction may be established.

General

You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Headings in these terms are for convenience only and have no legal meaning or effect. These Terms cannot be varied except in writing by a director of Rock Recruitment Limited. No employee or agent of Rock Recruitment Limited has the authority orally to vary any of these Terms, and a purported variation by any such employee or agent shall be null and void.

Privacy policy

Rock Recruitment is committed to privacy for everyone who accesses the Website. Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law, 2005 we must comply with certain requirements which are designed to ensure that any Data you provide to us is processed with due care and attention.

The security of your Data is extremely important to us. Rock Recruitment collects Personal Data about you to aid the Recruitment Process. This Data consists of information including your name, address, email address, work and education history plus details of your eligibility to work. Access to your Personal Data is only provided to our staff and to prospective employers in order to aid the Recruitment Process.

We collect and process Sensitive Personal Data only so far as is necessary and in compliance with all applicable legislation. By registering your details with us, you consent to us collecting and processing Sensitive Personal Data supplied by you and disclosing this information to prospective employers and clients only in connection with the Recruitment Process.
